DVR times out at 31 seconds and no audio on the recording but I hear it during recording and I should not. I have attached the log file.

Did you have IE running when you started to DVR? It looks like the audio hooked another iexplore process to get the sound. Please try with all other IE's shut down and no iexplore.exe's running in the background.
